Optimal VPP Operation Considering Network Constraint Uncertainty of DSO

Operating virtual power plants (VPP) solely based on economic feasibility can cause stability problems, such as voltage violation and congestion in the distribution system. A cooperation-based operation between VPP system operator (DSO) is regarded one of methodologies for solving problems. In method, a establishes an strategy considering information provided beforehand by DSO, constraint (DSC). The DSC uncertain because it determined forecasted grid situation. Therefore, operational strategies that rely only DSCs DSOs may make passive reduce profits depending accuracy announced DSCs. This study proposes operating methodology optimal model uncertainty to increase profit VPP. proposed model, independently forecasts maximization plan penalties. Case studies were conducted demonstrate improvement VPP, DSC. case results demonstrated increased 1.6 % compared with conventional method.
